Terms & Conditions
"Automatic Delivery Home Heating Account" means the type of residential heating account whereby McDougall Energy Inc. monitors the customer's heating oil or propane usage and establishes the appropriate delivery schedule. Deliveries are automatically made by McDougall Energy Inc. staff with no action required on the part of the customer.
"New Home Heating Customer" means a person who has not purchased home heating oil or propane from McDougall Energy in the 12 month period prior to September 1, 2015;
"You" and "Your" mean any Eligible Customer as defined in Section 1.1;
"McDougall Energy" means McDougall Energy Inc.
"Offer Period" means the timeframe starting on September 4, 2015 and ending on August 31, 2017.
1. Promotional Offer
Subject to Section 1.2, provided you fulfill the conditions set out in Sections 1.1 below you may be eligible to receive the following during the Offer Period starting September 4, 2015 and ending on August 31, 2016.
Credit for 200 litres of heating oil or propane on your heating oil bill and credit for 200 litres of heating oil or propane on the heating bill of a new customer's heating oil or propane bill (hereinafter referred to as "Offer")
The promotional offer is limited to the first 500 new customers enrolled with McDougall Energy.
To qualify for the Offer, you must:
(a) be of age of majority in the Province of Ontario;
(b) own or lease a residential property within Ontario, with a minimum estimated annual heating oil or propane usage of 1,500 litres, as determined by McDougall Energy in its sole discretion;
(c) be a New Home Heating Customer who signs up for an Automatic Delivery Home Heating Account;
(d) use a minimum of 1,000 litres of heating oil or propane to receive the credit; and
(e) refer a heating oil or propane customer to McDougall Energy and that customer signs up for an Automatic Delivery Home Heating Customer and purchases a minimum of 1,000 litres of heating oil or propane by: August 31, 2016.
1.2 Additional Conditions that apply to the Offer
The following conditions also apply to this Offer:
(a) Offer is available to Eligible Customers only.
(b) Eligible Customers are not entitled to a change, upgrade or substitution of the Offer.
(c) If you have received the Offer, McDougall Energy has the right to charge your account or send you an invoice for the value of the heating oil or propane provided at no cost (CDN) if your Automatic Delivery Home Heating Account is closed or is downgraded (either by you or by McDougall Energy's Credit Department) at any time prior to August 31, 2016.
(d) McDougall Energy may change the Offer and these Terms & Conditions at any time without giving you notice. The posting of the current Terms & Conditions at www.mcdougallcorp.com/referralrewards/termsandconditions shall be deemed sufficient notice to you of such Terms & Conditions, if required.
(e) In the event of a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the content of any document, brochure or promotional material advertising the Offer, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail. (f) McDougall Energy reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, disqualify, limit or revoke the Offer to any person or customer we find or believe to be manipulating or otherwise abusing the process, fairness, integrity or operation of the Offer
